Service-Learning is an educational approach that empowers youths by engaging them in meaningful service with the community, while applying their academic knowledge and skills to real-world needs. At Republic Polytechnic (RP), Service-Learning is a key pillar of our holistic education, nurturing students to become socially responsible and impactful contributors to society.

 All RP students take part in G135 Designing Your Impact, a general module under our broader Designing Your Life (DYL) framework. This module introduces students to Service-Learning and provides opportunities for meaningful community engagement. Beyond the classroom, students deepen their learning through a wide range of thoughtfully curated service projects that address real community challenges. These are delivered through both academic modules and staff-led school-based initiatives. To support this, RP has intentionally built in “white space” within the curriculum — including dedicated days and weeks — to give students time to explore, participate, and make a tangible difference in the communities around them.
