This module equips students with the knowledge and skills about healthcare operation management focusing on the community setting. The students will gain knowledge in areas such as marketing and resource management running an Active Ageing Center and its programmes. Students will also learn about volunteer management (VM), where students will learn VM strategies highlighting recruitment, training, engagement, coordination of volunteers, programme planning, and measuring the performance of volunteer programmes and activities. With the knowledge gained from this module, students can practice effective operations management to deliver high-quality care, ensure patient satisfaction, and meet regulatory requirements.
