Outdoor learning boosts many key skills, including confidence, teamwork and an abiding care for the environment. As a RP PFP student, you’ll develop a foundational understanding of the outdoors and how to navigate their spaces with confidence.
Start the day with a simple warm-up or small group physical exercises to activate your cognitive, physical and motor skills.
Explore fun and meaningful outdoor activities such as kayaking, outdoor cooking or rock climbing.
Reflect on the common experiences as a team and individually. Discover valuable learning points for improvements.
Master basic paddling techniques and safety procedures, while learning teamwork and communication skills. Lessons are conducted in the RP swimming pool to provide students a safe space so they can learn at their own pace and build confidence.
Be a master chef for the day! Learn how to whip up a delicious meal right at our outdoor sports complex using just a mess tin and cooking stove.
Scale greater heights at the RP Xperiential Learning Centre (XLC). Pick up climbing techniques. Besides having fun, you’ll cultivate resilience and fortitude while working together with classmates to overcome obstacles.
