Thanks to the initiative taken by 270 enthusiastic student volunteers and lecturers from RP’s Common Business Programme (CBP), this vision came alive during the exciting interschool Financial Literacy for Youths (FLY) Challenge. The goal? To ignite financial awareness among secondary school students in Singapore. And guess what? They nailed it!
On a sunny day, July 8, 2023, more than 200 energetic participants gathered to dive into the FLY Challenge - a Service-Learning Programme, where students embraced personal development while giving back to the community they cherish. Guided by CBP students from the School of Management and Communication, the participants jumped into a world of financial literacy games and quizzes on money management, budgeting, setting financial goals, and the importance of insurance.
Beyond all the financial wisdom shared, the FLY Challenge turned out to be a gateway to discovery. Participants not only gained priceless knowledge but also explored the vibrant RP campus, mingling with fellow students and friendly lecturers.
