Payment Modes-Related Questions
What are the various payment modes in RP?
To safeguard against potential scams, we strongly encourage all students to set up a GIRO bank account with RP for fee payments. GIRO offers a secure and automated way to ensure your fees are paid on time and directly to the institution. Application can be made online via RP’s eGIRO portal.

Commonly asked questions regarding eGIRO
a. What is the purpose of submitting an eGIRO? Can I use my parents’ account to set up?
Submitting an eGIRO allows you to make payments to RP seamlessly from your bank account. It also ensures you receive refunds, bursaries, scholarships, and academic prizes directly. You can use your account or a parent’s. Once you select your bank, you’ll be prompted to log in via internet banking.
b. I do not have a SingPass account. Can I use another method to log in to the eGIRO portal?
No—you’ll need SingPass to log in. If you haven’t registered, go to https://ask.gov.sg/singpass.

There is only ONE GIRO deduction per semester after the tax invoice is sent.

Your invoice will clearly state if fees will be deducted via GIRO. Make sure there are sufficient funds in your designated bank account on the stipulated deduction date.

If you have applied eGIRO via RP’s eGIRO portal, log in to the portal to terminate the arrangement. You may refer to the User Guide [PDF, 2.5 MB] for more information. Termination takes about 5 working days.
If you have previously submitted your termination request, you can submit a new eGIRO application with the updated bank account via RP’s eGIRO portal.
h. In the event I do not wish to maintain a GIRO arrangement with RP, how can I receive a bursary?

CPF Education Loan Scheme Questions
Do I still have to pay my tuition fees if I apply for the CPF Education Scheme?
It depends on:
The percentage of the loan quantum
The available CPF withdrawal limit of the CPF member’s account (e.g. your parent’s CPF)
You’ll need to pay any remaining fees that aren’t covered by the scheme.
How do I cancel my CPF Education Loan Scheme for tuition fees?
If you want to stop using CPF for your fees, you’ll need to submit the CPF Education Revocation Form online to revoke the authorisation for use of your CPF savings for education. Once that’s done, you must then make arrangements to settle your tuition fees using another payment method.
How do I change the CPF account to be used to pay my fees?
You can refer to the change of CPF holder procedure here.
*Important: From 1 April 2024, foreign students will no longer be eligible for the CPF Education Loan Scheme.
