MOE Special Educational Needs Fund

If you have a physical, hearing, or visual impairment, or learning and behavioural challenges, you may be eligible to apply for the MOE Special Educational Needs (SEN) Fund. This fund supports the purchase of Assistive Technology (AT) devices and related support services to help with your learning needs.

During the duration of your diploma course, you can claim:

  • Up to $5,000 if you have learning or behavioural conditions

  • Up to $5,000 if you have a physical impairment*

  • Up to $25,000 if you have a hearing or visual impairment*

*Students with higher support needs who may require additional assistance will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

Eligibility

  • You must be a Singapore Citizen enrolled in a full-time Diploma course

  • You must have declared your SEN condition to RP

  • You must submit a statement of relevant diagnosis from qualified medical professionals

Application process

  1. Download and complete the SEN Fund application form [PDF, 308 KB] (opens in new tab).

  2. Make an appointment by emailing help-SEN@rp.edu.sg (opens in new tab)

  3. Bring your completed application form and supporting documents to the appointment so we can review your application.
