How does it work?

Each Minor programme consists of a total of 12 Modular Credits (MCs). You will just need to take two extra modules on top of the requirements for your Diploma.

2 Modules (Total of 4 MCs)

Choose two relevant modules from the list of Freely Chosen Modules (FCM)

Choose two modules from the list of your selected Minor Programme

Example: Student pursuing Minor in Digitalisation

Student A 

Example:
Student pursuing Diploma in Biomedical Science + Minor in Digitalisation.

2 Modules (Total of 4 MCs)

Choose two relevant FCM from the Digitalisation category

Choose two modules from the Minor in Digitalisation programme, such as E118 Fundamentals of Industrial Internet of Things (4 MCs) and T376 Design with Emerging Technology (4 MCs)

When to apply and Who is eligible?

  • Minor Programmes are available from Academic Year (AY) 2023 onwards

  • Eligible students who meet the academic requirements may apply towards end of Year 1

  • Minor Programmes are offered to students, subject to the availability of places.

Application and Eligibility

Apply at the End of Year 1

Year 1

You can apply for a Minor Programme at at the end of Year 1. You must pass all modules taken in Year 1 and meet other relevant academic requirements to qualify.

Take Minor Modules at Year 1

Year 2

If you are selected, you can take the Minor Programme modules alongside other modules for your diploma programme. You must pass all the modules required to continue.

Take Remaining Modules

Year 3

Complete the remaining modules for your Minor, Internship, and diploma programme.

Graduation

Graduation

You will be awarded with a Diploma with Minor
