Polytechnics use a cohort-based fee structure, so this means your tuition fees stay fixed throughout your course. You will also have greater certainty and can plan your finances better.
For Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents, the Government will continue to absorb the GST on tuition fees. For International Students, tuition fees (from AY2016 intakes onwards) are subject to GST.
At a glance
Your course fees are made up of two parts: Tuition Fees and Supplementary Fees.
Tuition Fees (paid over 2 semesters each academic year)
Fees for diploma programme/course
Supplementary Fees (paid once each academic year)
Administrative fees for the use of Republic Polytechnic's facilities, internet services, etc.
