RP supports you in achieving a well-rounded education. If you're a full-time Diploma student planning to join a Student Overseas Travel (SOT) programme, such as a Study Trip, International Service-Learning Project (ISLP) or an Interest Group Trip, and need financial help, you can apply for a subsidy under this scheme.
Eligibility Criteria
You can apply if you meet the following:
You are a Singapore Citizen on a full-time Diploma (PET) programme under the Tuition Grant scheme
You receive a government bursary, specifically:
Higher Education Community Bursary Tier 1 (HECB Tier 1)
Higher Education Community Bursary Tier 2 (HECB Tier 2)
Higher Education Bursary Tier 1 (HEB Tier 1)
Funding is based on your bursary tier at the time of trip registration.
Income criteria eligibility and subsidy amount
Income criteria eligibility | Subsidy amount |

Household income corresponding to one of these bursary tiers:
Gross Per Capita Income (PCI) of $1,100 or below OR | 90% of the trip cost, capped at $1,000 |
Household income corresponding to this bursary tier:
$1,101 ≤ Per Capita Income (PCI) ≤ $1,875 OR | 80% of the trip cost, capped at $500 |
Notes
If you're eligible, you’ll receive a subsidy cap of either $1,000 (covering 90% of the trip cost) or $500 (covering 80% of the trip cost) for your SOT trips. Any unused balance can be rolled over until the full amount is used.
The subsidy is calculated based on the trip cost after any other grants have been applied.
You must comply with the Terms and Conditions provided during trip registration.
To apply for the subsidy, submit your application when registering for the trip via SNApp.
