Ameet Singh Sandhu from the Diploma in Mass Communication was awarded the Ministry of Home Affairs Uniformed Scholarship at the Singapore Police Force Scholarship and Ministry of Home Affairs Scholarships Award Ceremony 2023. Held at Istana on Friday, 18 August 2023, the ceremony was graced by Mr K Shanmugam, the Minister for Home Affairs and Minister for Law.

Reflecting on his achievement, Ameet said, "My time as a National Service Inspector in the Singapore Police Force has exposed me to the importance of the safety and security of our country. I have always valued these qualities that Singapore prioritises, and I hope to exemplify the mission of the Home Team by embracing the challenges and rewards that come with being in the Singapore Police Force."
