For the first time, RP School of Hospitality's Diploma in Integrated Events Management team hosted the 4th edition of Tourism Transformation 2022 virtually on 27 January 2022 via Zoom. The event promoted tourism as a career and showcased the various career pathways to an audience of at least 500 industry guests, polytechnics and ITE students over 1 plenary and 3 breakout sessions. The theme of the event, Level Up: Digital Transformation Strategies, encapsulated the trend of tech adoption across various tourism verticals to drive the recovery of businesses as Singapore transitions to living with COVID-19.

The Minister of State for Trade and Industry, Ms. Low Yen Ling was invited as the Guest-Of-Honour for the event.  In the efforts to reshape the tourism sector amidst this COVID-19 backdrop, SOH strives to level up our staff to future-proof SOH students with the relevant digital skills through incorporating new modules on Analytics, Digital Marketing, Technology, Experience, Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Sustainability in our diploma courses. The virtual webinar was a success with the strong support of SOH staff, students and industry partners.

RP has also converted more than 20 short courses into online ones to upskill hospitality employees.
