What You Will Learn

This is a merged diploma between the Diploma in Customer Experience Management with Business and the Diploma in Tourism Management with Technology

Singapore is renowned for its world-class hospitality business and services. The government continuously invests in infrastructure and tourism-related projects to enhance the visitor experience and maintain Singapore's status as a premier destination in Asia.

The Diploma in Hospitality & Tourism Management (DHTM) offers students a comprehensive programme that develops individuals with the necessary skills and knowledge to anticipate customer expectations and drive memorable experiences. The broad-based curriculum is designed to provide a holistic understanding of the industry in the new tourism norm, covering key areas such as marketing, sustainable tourism, and customer analytics. With a flexible programme structure, students can specialise in one of three majors aligned with their interests and career aspirations:

  • Customer Experience and Innovation - Focusing on personalised, tech-driven interactions.
  • Sales and Revenue Management - Emphasising strategic pricing and revenue maximisation.
  • Sustainable Tourism - Supporting local communities, promoting environmental responsibility and cultural preservation.

DHTM graduates are poised for a wide array of career paths in the various sectors of the hospitality and tourism industry, such as airlines, attractions, banking, and travel. The global scope of these sectors presents opportunities for international employment and fostering experiences in diverse cultural settings. Armed with industry-specific skills and training acquired, DHTM graduates are aptly equipped to tackle industry demands and progress in their careers.

For those eager to jumpstart their careers, DHTM offers a structured Talent Advancement Programme (TAP) that provides students a direct route to the workforce. This pathway, supported by guidance from an industry mentor, features short job stints and a one-year (two-semester) internship with strategic industry partners.
