There is no lack of distractions faced by our learners in this time and age. Educators are constantly facing the uphill task of keeping their learners engaged in the classroom. Getting learners to be meaningfully engaged in their learning, be it in a face-to-face or in an online setting, is fundamental in enabling sustainable learning to take place; one in which learners are self-directed and willing to take on challenges. This course aims to help educators understand the obstacles which hinder meaningful engagements and be equipped with the tools and techniques to effectively manage these, in order to maximise learning.
