Service-Learning in RP

Service-Learning is a teaching pedagogy to develop youths by engaging them in meaningful service with the communities. Through purposeful engagements, youths will also get to apply their academic skills and knowledge to address community needs.

Service-Learning plays a pivotal role in the holistic education of our students in RP, nurturing them to be effective contributors in society. This is done in parts through academic curriculum and school-based (staff-led) project initiatives. All our students take a general Life Skills module, in which they are introduced to service-learning and the community needs. Students then go on to deepen their learning and social responsibility through active participation in thoughtfully-organised service experiences from a diverse range of projects to address actual community needs.
