Geri was the publicity subcom for the Blood Donation Drive. She was aware of the myths and stigma around blood donating and hence she created educational and informative infographics and videos to spread awareness and inculcate valuable knowledge to the public about blood donation, in hope to debunk the myths about it. This has helped to encourage others to join as donors, as well as providing an opportunity for others to continue sharing about blood donation in positive light. During the event, she ensured smooth flow of the event by aiding the assistant-in-charge to delegate task to student helpers. She took intiative to help out during her break time and showed enthusiasm in actively promoting the event to students by giving out pamphlets around the school and answering students' queries.

For the closing segment at the Empowered with Tech event, Hui Qi as the Chinese Emcee was able to demonstrate her exceptional leadership qualities and ability to create a memorable experience. During the event, as different groups of seniors were entering the auditorium, an awkward silence ensued when the minister arrived. In this moment, Hui Qi took the initiative to engage the audience, bringing a sense of liveliness and warmth to the atmosphere. When the seniors requested Hui Qi to sing, she appeared nervous but rose to the occasion. With her genuine willingness to make the event special, she treated the seniors to a session of songs. This act not only livened up the mood but also created a heartfelt connection between Hui Qi and the seniors. The event’s major success is owed to students like Hui Qi, who was able to think on her feet, be willing to engage the audience, and showed strong dedication to making the event special.

Terrence Ding Jun Xi was the team leader and together with his team, organised a series of fun and interactive activities for the seniors attending one of the Care Corner Active Ageing Centres. He took up the challenge and led the team in this LSLP while he was doing his internship. He was the catalyst in organising the team discussions and he facilitated brainstorming of activities for the seniors together with his team. He gathered his team members and conducted a dry run to ensure that his team members and himself were familiar with their planned programme, and that everyone in the team understood their respective roles and responsibilities for the event day. He was the emcee on the event day and went around to provide support to his team members facilitating the activities with the seniors at the respective tables. The engagement session on that day went on smoothly and the staff from the centre was appreciative of the students who conducted the programme.

Yilin was part of the organising committee for the LSLP - Let's Make Memories with Dementia Singapore. With the organising team, she contributed ideas to the cognitive activities suitable for Seniors with Dementia. During the execution of the project, there were many unexpected challenges faced by the team - especially with the unfamiliarity of the audience, and the team was struggling to maintain the engagement of the seniors. Yilin then adapted to the situation and tried to lift up the spirits of the team by encouraging them not to give up. Despite the many challenges Yilin and her team faced, they did not give up and continued to engage the seniors and succeeded is having some interaction with them. While initially disappointed by the semi-success of the project, during the debrief, Yilin reassured the team that they could learn from this experience and create a better experience for the seniors in their next project.

Lani stands out as an exemplary student, particularly in the realm of community service. Her leadership role in Service Learning for our diploma program has been instrumental in planning and executing various impactful initiatives. These include visits to Jeneris Home and Krisnas' Free Meals. Lani brought much joy and action to the residents of Jeneris Home by creating a TikTok dance to teach them, brightening their otherwise mundane days. She was most patient when teaching them the steps of the dance and her passion was infectious. Prior to the event, she recorded a video of her dance moves/steps for the staff of Jenaris Home to play it during the event, making it easier for the residents to follow the dance moves.

As one of the Programme ICs, Bryan worked with the One Heart Committee, responsible for orchestrating a successful three-day event.
His role encompassed him to meticulously plan the program flow, curate engaging activities for each session, and coordinate the logistical requirements. A significant accomplishment by Bryan and his team, was inviting and coordinating with the school String Ensemble for the logistics and manpower needed on the second day to perform songs during lunchtime. The performance was thoroughly enjoyed by both the One Heart participants and volunteers, adding a memorable touch to the event.
During the initial volunteer briefing session, together with his team, Bryan communicated the necessary instructions with much clarity, ensuring that all his team members had a clear understanding of their responsibilities, establishing a solid foundation for the event's smooth operation.
