Fundamentals of Esports (Events, Teams and Media)

This course introduces participants to the fundamentals of business operations, event management, and digital media functions of the esports industry.

The takeaway is an understanding of the stakeholders’ roles, influences over other stakeholders and esports trends. Participants will also learn the potential specialisations offered by an esports career.

Learning Objectives

This programme aims to educate members of the public about the following:

  1. Explain the common careers business operations and functions within an esports event companies.
  2. Understand the stakeholders and their roles and influence in esports Teams.
  3. Understand the requirements of an esports media production.

Who should attend?

Adults, Mid-career professional, Diploma students.

Entry Requirement

“O” Levels or Diploma, basic understanding of computer literacy, mobile devices, and gaming apps. 

Certification

Participants will be awarded a certificate of completion upon meeting the 75% course attendance requirement.

For courses with formal assessment component, participants will be awarded the certification of completion upon passing the assessment. Otherwise, a certification of attendance will be issued instead upon meeting the 75% course attendance requirement.
