An introductory course on esports and the basics of esports.
Participants will be able to understand and identify the stakeholders in the esports ecosystem, and how different stakeholders relate and interact with each other. Participants will also learn about what has contributed to esports’ growth and success. In doing so, they can look forward to the future of the industry and its potential career opportunities.
Learning Objectives
This programme aims to educate members of the public about the following :
- Understand the basics of esports.
- Understand and identify the stakeholders of the esports ecosystem, and how different stakeholders relate and interact with each other within the ecosystem.
- Learn about what has contributed to esports’ growth and success and, in the process, look ahead towards the future of the industry and the potential career opportunities they could look forward to
Who should attend?
Adults, Mid-career professional, Diploma students.
Entry Requirement
“O” Levels or Diploma, basic understanding of computer literacy, mobile devices, and gaming apps.
Certification
Participants will be awarded a certificate of completion upon meeting the 75% course attendance requirement.
For courses with formal assessment component, participants will be awarded the certification of completion upon passing the assessment. Otherwise, a certification of attendance will be issued instead upon meeting the 75% course attendance requirement.
