Giving Feedback (Formative Assessment: Written Feedback)

Written feedback is key to formative assessment and the quality of written feedback is one of the crucial determinants of effective teaching and learning. In this self-paced e-learning course, participants will learn the purpose and principles of effective written feedback based on research findings derived from studies conducted with RP students.

Learning Objectives

By end of this workshop, participants will be able to
  • Identify the purpose of written feedback for learning
  • Explain corrective, metacognitive and positive feedback
  • Analyse the quality of written feedback

Who should attend?

  • Class leader, Module leader, Teachers, Trainers, Instructors, Facilitators, Academic Leaders, Heads of Departments, and Learning and Development (L&D) Managers from Educational and Training Institutions

Entry Requirement

This workshop is suitable for educators and trainers. No prior knowledge is required.

Certification

Participants will be awarded the Certificate of Attendance by Republic Polytechnic upon meeting 75% of attendance requirement.
