This introductory course provides an overview of critical thinking in the 21st century in three waves – (i) Critical Thinking Skills (Critical Thinking), (ii) Critical Thinking Dispositions (Critical Doing), and (iii) Critical Thinking Culture (Critical Being).
Participants will be part of an interactive lesson, with opportunities for learners to share their perspectives with one another, on ways to foster the learning of critical thinking in an educational institution – through the development of a learner-centric critical thinking module and/or infusion of critical thinking into subject-based modules.

By the end of the course, participants will be able to
- use key strategies to develop critical thinking among learners
- apply key features that foster a critical thinking culture in the learning environment

Teachers, trainers, instructors, facilitators, academic leaders, heads of departments, curriculum developers, learning specialists, and learning and development (L&D) managers from educational and training institutions.

This workshop is suitable for educators and trainers of all levels.
Certification
Participants will be awarded the Certificate of Attendance by Republic Polytechnic upon meeting 75% of attendance requirement.
