Nudge by Design

Have you ever wanted to be better at convincing people? This course could be just what you’re looking for!

Nudging is a way of triggering behaviour change in people to encourage desired outcomes. It is essentially concerned with human behaviour and its study.

In this workshop, participants will explore how habits can be nudged to create social, environmental and economic impact. Furthermore, participants will learn this through the design of front-office and back-office services, structures, systems and processes, all of which will lead to improved service delivery.

Learning Objectives

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:

  • explain the concept of behavioural design

  • describe how habits can be nudged using design

  • apply techniques to generate ideas to influence behaviour

Certification

Participants will be awarded the Certificate of Attendance issued by Republic Polytechnic upon meeting 80% of the attendance.
