Polytechnic Foundation Programme Admissions Exercise


You can search for your desired RP courses online or browse through our collaterals such as the RP Prospectus. You can also attend events such as the RP Open House and Course Counselling sessions to find out more about our diploma courses.


Application for entry to Intake Year 2020 will open from 13 Jan 2020, 2pm to 17 Jan 2020, 4pm. Apply online through the PFP portal.

If you are eligible to participate in the PFPAE, your school will issue you a Form P on the day of the release of the GCE 'O' Level Examination results.
  • The form contains a PFP PIN which allows you to log onto the PFPAE Portal.

  • You are allowed to submit up to a maximum of 5 courses for which you are eligible for.

Posting Outcome

The outcome of your application will be released online through the PFP portal on 21 Jan 2020, 2pm.
  • Login using your NRIC and password via the PFP portal to check the posting results.

Upon receiving the PFPAE posting results, if you want to appeal for a transfer to another polytechnic course, you may submit an online appeal via the PFPAE Appeal Exercise for polytechnic courses.
  • You do not need to submit separate appeal to the individual polytechnics.

Appeal period: 21 Jan 2020, 2pm to 23 Jan 2020, 4pm.

Appeal Procedures and Information
  • You can appeal up to a maximum of 3 course choices.

  • If your appeal is successful, your original PFPAE posting will be void regardless of whether you accept the new PFP offer. If you are unsuccessful in the PFPAE Appeal Exercise, you will retain your original PFPAE posting.

Release of PFPAE Appeal Results
  • You can check your appeal results online onwards from 31 Jan 2020, 2pm. You are to accept or reject your appeal results by 4 Feb 2020, 4pm.

After Enrolment

Once you have completed the required enrolment tasks, you will be registered as a first year RP student.
  • You can attend the RP Orientation Programme to get to know your fellow peers and your surroundings. For more information on the RP Orientation Programme, click here.

  • You can also log in to OASIS or LEO through your configured laptop to check your classes on the first day of school
