Republic Polytechnic Guitar Ensemble (GEnRe) is one of the few Niibori Guitar ensembles in Singapore, established in 2003. The interest group is led by Conductor Terence Choo, a Music Director at Music Impact Global.

GEnRe has performed at various events such as Republic Polytechnic’s Open House, Woodlands Regional Library’s 10th Anniversary Celebration, International Symposium on Advances in Technology Education – ISATE and Reflections Arts Festival. GEnRe has also recently participated in the Music Impact Global 17th Guitar Festival in March 2025.

GEnRe’s members have also participated in many collaborations. In 2019, they worked with Xposé Guitar Ensemble for one of their concerts, Giubilante. In 2024, the group collaborated with various Arts & Culture Interest Groups and World Music band, Flame of the Forest for Still. I Rise, a cross-cultural music show blending a wide range of styles through original composition.
