Republic Polytechnic Guitar Ensemble (GEnRe) is one of the few Niibori Guitar ensembles in Singapore. The interest group is led by Conductor Mr Alex Lee, an alumnus of the National University of Singapore Guitar Ensemble (GENUS). Under his guidance, Guitar Ensemble has progressed significantly in their music technicality and artistic standards.

GEnRe has performed at various events such as Republic Polytechnic’s Open House, Woodlands Regional Library’s 10th Anniversary Celebrations, International Symposium on Advances in Technology Education – ISATE and Reflections Arts Festival in 2015.

The members have performed at The Esplanade Recital Studio for Guitarra Impresiones, a joint collaboration with Catholic Junior College since 2014.
