Republic Polytechnic's Wushu is a dynamic team at an institutional and national level, aiming to preserve the traditional Chinese martial arts as well as promote mental and physical fitness to the community.

Under the tutelage of Mr Xue Xing Fu, the members have participated in various Wushu competitions. The team recently competed in the National Wushu Championship and were awarded two Gold and two Silver awards in 2021 before winning one Gold and two Bronze awards in 2023.

RP Wushu has also performed in several events on campus, such as Open House, Orientation Programme’s Jam & Hop, Momentum Dance Festival and Reflections Arts Festival. The members have also been involved in events off-campus, such as Esplanade’s In Youthful Company Series alongside RP Selatra Seni Silat and Style Groovaz Crew in 2022.

The group values self-discipline and self-control as key elements in developing strong character.
