This module equips students with an understanding of Human Resource Management (HRM) in the Singapore context. Students will gain an appreciation of the various Human Resource (HR) functions which are necessary for the smooth operation of an organisation. Topics covered include job analysis and design, recruitment and selection, performance management, employment laws, compensation and benefits, human resource development, Human Resource Information System, international human resources as well as current HR trends.
