This module covers the performance measurements for productivity, integrated planning, costing, control methods, and systems used in the engineering services and manufacturing industry. Students will be introduced to sustainable manufacturing and green initiatives in a manufacturing environment, learn how to plan for material, capacity requirements, and create appropriate manufacturing schedules according to the planning horizon. They will also be exposed to advanced manufacturing and technologies like additive manufacturing (3D printing) and manufacturing intelligence.
