T358 takes an in-depth look at the methods and techniques used in shaping, crafting and enhancing narratives through the manipulation of video images, text, and sound, as well as the production of motion graphics. Through a series of practical, industry-standard exercises and assignments, students learn to apply different editing styles for various genres of video productions including promotional trailers, short films, and non-fiction programmes. Students learn to animate graphics and perform colour grading and correction using professional software. In addition, students acquire the acumen to analyse and critique completed works, thereby enhancing their ability to tell stories meaningfully in the post-production stage.
