The external scholarships are administered by the sponsoring organisation. Republic Polytechnic (RP) students can consider applying for these scholarships.

CAMP CHALLENGE's Alpha Challenge Scholarship

Eligibility Criteria
  • Year 1 students from RP's Diploma in Outdoor Adventure Learning (DOAL) or students joining RP's DOAL
  • Passion for adventure and the outdoors
  • Reasonable academic results and a positive attitude
  • Applicants are required to attend a three-day all expenses paid selection programme

DSTA Polytechnic Digital Scholarship


Eligibility Criteria
  • Singapore Citizen
  • Good academic results
  • Pursuing a full-time diploma in infocomm related fields such as information technology and info security management
  • Passionate about science and technology

DSTA Polytechnic Engineering Scholarship

DSTA Scholarship


Eligibility Criteria
  • Singapore Citizen
  • Good academic results
  • Outstanding CCA records
  • Passionate about science and technology  
Quantum For DSTA scholars studying in Singapore:
  • Tuition and compulsory fees
  • Annual and other allowances e.g. books, computer
  • Sponsorship for Overseas Student Exchange programme
  • Sponsorship for studies, inclusive of Master’s if applicable
  • Internship opportunity
  • Global Internship Programme
  • Four years of service commitment

For DSTA scholars studying in overseas universities:

  • Tuition and compulsory fees
  • Overseas maintenance and other allowances e.g. books, computer
  • Return economy airfare
  • Sponsorship for Student Exchange programme
  • Sponsorship for studies, inclusive of Master’s if applicable
  • Internship opportunity
  • Global Internship Programme
  • Six years of service commitment (English speaking countries)
  • Five years of service commitment (Non-English speaking countries)

Evolve Warrior Scholarship


Eligibility Criteria
  • People of any nationality are eligible to apply for the Evolve Warrior Scholarship
Quantum The Evolve Warrior Scholarship is awarded once per year to one outstanding individual who has the desire to unleash his/her greatness. The Evolve Warrior Scholarship is valued up to S$10,000 for a full year of study.

HOME Team Diploma Sponsorship

Eligibility Criteria
  • Singapore Citizen
  • Good 'O'-Level/Nitec/Higher Nitec results
  • Gained admission in RP and in any academic discipline
  • Medically and physically fit
  • Strong interest in HOME Team careers
Quantum There are 2 tiers to the Home Award (Polytechnic):
The HOME Merit Award (Poly) offers:
  • An annual allowance of S$12,000
  • Payment of tuition and compulsory fees
  • Study bonus of $1,200 per semester if the student passes all modules in that semester
  • Eligible for a grant of up to $3,600 per academic year, to undertake MHA or polytechnic-approved development programmes

The HOME Study Award (Poly) offers:
  • An annual allowance of S$7,800
  • Payment of tuition and compulsory fees
  • Study bonus of $1,200 per semester if the student passes all modules in that semester

Microsoft YouthSpark Scholarship

Eligibility Criteria
  • Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident
  • Full-time studies in IT in local Polytechnics or Universities
  • Permanent disability (certified by Medical Professionals)
  • Good academic records
  • Relevance of training to employment opportunities
  • Ability to handle both academic studies and work commitments (if any)
  • Commitment to serve the disabled community upon graduation
  • Continuation of scholarship is dependent on the scholar's academic performance

Up to S$3000 special assistance fund

Muslimin Trust Fund Association (MTFA) Founders' Scholarship

Eligibility Criteria
  • Muslim Singapore citizen 
  • Outstanding academic achievements
  • Excellent CCA record 
  • Strong leadership qualities and potential
  • Passion to contribute to Singapore’s Muslim community 
  • Not the recipient of any other bursary, award or scholarship
  • Monthly household income S$4,000 and below
  • Applicants may have to attend an interview
Quantum Up to S$10,000 per year

PUB Sponsorship

Eligibility Criteria
  • Engineering students progressing to their final year of Study
  • Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident
  • Diploma in Engineering or Water Technology
  • Outstanding academic results
  • Outstanding CCA records
  • Successful applicants are required to serve a one-year bond with PUB upon graduation

SAF Young Leader Award

Eligibility Criteria
  • Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents intending to take up citizenship
  • Year 1 and 2 students from RP
  • Demonstrate academic excellence
  • Display strong leadership qualities through CCA
  • Strong passion in defence-related issues
Quantum
  • S$2,500 cash award 
  • Opportunities to visit MINDEF/SAF establishments and units
  • Opportunities to attend SAF functions, defence-related seminars and other engagement activities
  • Guaranteed scholarship interview

Singapore Indian Education Trust Achievement Awards

Eligibility Criteria
  • Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident of Indian descent
  • Completed at least one academic year with excellent academic results
  • Outstanding CCA records and involvement in community work
  • Recipients must undertake the Trust's future projects and community work
  • Shortlisted applicants must attend a compulsory interview
Quantum S$1,500

Singapore Olympic Foundation - Peter Lim Sports Scholarship

Eligibility Criteria
  • Young, aspiring athletes who require additional financial support
  • Athletes with good performances in National level competitions OR U18 athletes on the high performance pathway (i.e. with the National Youth or National teams)  
Quantum Up to S$5,000

SM Jaleel Foundation – Education Trust Fund Assistance Scheme (Scholarship)


Eligibility Criteria  
  • Muslim Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident who has been residing in Singapore for at least 5 years immediately before being admitted to the institution.
  • Household Per Capita Income (PCI) of S$450 and below
  • Obtained outstanding results

Tan Ah Tah - SAWL Scholarship for Disabled

Eligibility Criteria
  • Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident
  • Good academic results and good conduct
  • Poor and physically disabled, including one who is from any approved charity as defined under the Income Tax Act (Chapter 134) or any society duly registered under the Societies Act (Chapter 311), who is in need of financial assistance

Yayasan Mendaki - Merchant Scholarship (Year 1 Student only)

Eligibility Criteria
  • Muslim Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident (regardless of race) who has been residing in Singapore for at least 5 years immediately before being admitted to the institution.
  • Outstanding results in:
    • Singapore Cambridge GCE ‘O’ examinations, preferably with 3 distinctions; or
    • ­NITEC Higher NITEC with cumulative GPA score of 3.5 and above
  • Good records of active participation in CCA
  • Student from low-income family will be given priority
  • The scholarship is disbursed yearly for the whole duration of the course of study, subject to satisfactory performance of the scholar.
  • No bond is required but recipients will be required to complete one community project via MENDAKI.
Quantum
  • 100% of the tuition fee and/or S$1,000 as living allowance per annum
  • Duration of the scholarship is up to a minimum period of study leading to a diploma or maximum of 3 years, whichever is lower.

Yayasan Mendaki Scholarship (Year 1 Students only)

Eligibility Criteria
  • Muslim Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident who has been residing in Singapore for at least 5 years immediately before being admitted to the institution.
  • Enrolled in first year of study
  • Outstanding results in:
    • Singapore Cambridge GCE ‘O’ examinations, preferably with 3 distinctions; or
    • ­NITEC Higher NITEC with cumulative GPA score of 3.5 and above
  • Good records of active participation in CCA
  • The scholarship is disbursed yearly for the duration of the course of study subject to satisfactory performance of the scholar.
  • No bond is required but recipients will be required to complete one community project via MENDAKI.

A Better Florist Scholarship Programme

Eligibility Criteria
  • Applicants must be enrolled into a local/private university school's programmes on a full-time basis
  • There are no restrictions in terms of nationalities or age.
  • Recipients of the scholarship may not concurrently hold other scholarships without the approval of A Better Florist.

ZALORA Scholarship

Eligibility Criteria
  • Must not be a ZALORA employee or immediate family member of a ZALORA employee
  • Good CCA records
  • Possess outstanding academic school results
  • Be applying for admission or is a student to a full-time course at any of the tertiaries listed on our Partner Institution page
  • Not be a final-year student.
Quantum
  • A one-off sponsorship of tuition fees of up to S$3,000
