Students will gain the knowledge and skills required of a pharmacy technician to perform essential job functions in hospitals and community pharmacies. Through this module, students will be equipped with knowledge in pharmacy law, pharmacy inventory control and drug information resources. In addition, students will learn various uses of health supplements and over-the-counter products in managing common conditions. Students will also be introduced to mathematical formulas and medical abbreviations used in the industry.
