This module introduces students to the key processes and practices that underpin reliable and responsive IT service operations in modern digital enterprises. Grounded in the globally recognised ITIL framework and enhanced by DevOps methodologies, it highlights the role of automation and Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools such as AIOps, ChatGPT, Bard, and Llama in transforming service delivery. Students will gain practical experience in managing incidents, service requests, IT assets, and configuration changes, while applying AI and machine learning to enhance service quality and operational efficiency. Through hands-on engagement with industry-relevant tools and practices, the module prepares students for roles in IT operations, service management, and AI-enabled enterprise environments.
