Multi-Channel Content Marketing introduces students to basic concepts, principles, approaches, and uses of advertising. The module covers theories of advertising appeals, approaches for understanding a target audience, various traditional/non-traditional forms of advertising, and advertising platforms including the Metaverse. In addition to understanding how content marketing is developed and why it works, students learn an analytical process based on Meta’s Digital Marketing strategy to help them understand and define the intention of their own content marketing work. They will also acquire techniques and tools for communicating this intention with effectiveness and clarity such as using immersive content creation tools like Meta’s Spark software. The module is practical and hands-on in nature; giving students many opportunities to try their hand at designing a range of advertisements across different distribution channels such as traditional, social media and Metaverse spaces.
