Why RP?

At RP, Learning is Active, Engaging and Holistic

Your students will become professionals, problem solvers and passionate citizens, eager and well-equipped to fulfil meaningful roles in society.

Our strong industry partnerships will allow your students to gain real-world work experience, which enhance the practical knowledge and skills they need to succeed in the future.

Our Industry-relevant Problem-based Learning Approach

RP believes in learning by doing, which is why we champion an industry-relevant Problem-based Learning (PBL) approach.

Your students will learn by completing practical tasks and solving real industry problems. This is why RP graduates are knowledgeable team players equipped with the skills to:

  • handle tricky situations;
  • tackle challenges head-on;
  • and complete tasks successfully.

Immersive Industry Experiences

Our on-going partnerships with local and international organisations will provide your students the opportunities to take part in industry internships that are relevant to their field of study.

Internships prepare your students for the real world challenges. These opportunities allow your students to:

  • observe industry best practices;
  • gain transferable skills;
  • network with industry experts;
  • build a comprehensive portfolio;
  • and cultivate good working ethics.

Going Global

Your students will gain opportunities to discover the world through various overseas student programmes. These programmes expose students to cultures and customs they may never have experienced before. You can expect your students to visit:

  • Australia
  • China
  • Indonesia
  • Taiwan
  • Japan

Service-Learning

Service-learning transforms academic learning into experiential learning through meaningful engagement with different communities. Your students will immerse in different environments and enjoy countless opportunities to hone life skills such as:

  • leadership,
  • project management,
  • and community collaboration.

Co-Curricular Activities

RP has over 90 exciting Cocurricular Activities (CCAs) to help your students discover their own interests and talents, while also promoting friendship and a sense of community involvement.

Education & Career Guidance

To help students transition smoothly from RP to the workforce, your students need to make informed education and career decisions that align with their knowledge, skills, and passion.

This is reflected in our ongoing efforts to innovate and evolve as an institution of lifelong learning. The RP Career Centre provides a wide range of activities for your students, such as:

  • career workshops
  • career fairs,
  • and career counselling.

This means your students can navigate their career with confidence, feel proud of their passion, and bring even more value to their future employers.

Mentoring & Counselling

To help your students achieve their potential, they will be assigned a personal mentor (a full-time lecturer appointed by the school) to provide ongoing encouragement and guidance throughout the course of study. Our mentors will help your students adapt to RP’s learning environment and thrive inside the classroom and outside of it.

We understand that studying can be extremely stressful, which is why RP counsellors are on hand to help. This dedicated support system is available to all students who have academic concerns or personal issues, providing a safe environment for discussion and helping individuals to develop positive coping strategies moving forward.
