On 26 June 2022, Republic Polytechnic joined our industry partner, Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB), and 34 other participating organisations in the #DrugFreeSG Light-Up for the first time.

From 7:30pm to 12:00am, RP blazed in green lights symbolising our support for the anti-drug cause. Together with the world, RP acknowledged the harms of drugs and drug abuse, and pledged to combat drug abuse and illicit drug trafficking.

SHL took the lead in this meaningful project alongside our colleagues from The Republic Cultural Centre (TRCC).  The TRCC & Republic Polytechnic Centre (RPC) were lit up with the colours of the Anti-Drug Ribbon, illuminated in green which symbolises 'Health', 'Vitality' and Strength'.

This project involves our Diploma in Health Management & Promotion (DHMP) module, S341 Youth Health. Our DHMP students able to apply their learning in this authentic project to raise awareness for a drug-free society. The module also equips them with skills and knowledge to become positive influencers to steer youths away from drugs.
