Human Resources & Career Counselling

Our human resource (HR) and career counselling courses aim to equip HR professionals with the critical skills that are important to build an in-depth understanding of strategic HR issues in a dynamic and changing environment. The courses enable you to apply the appropriate HR analytics digital tools and career counselling/coaching methodologies to improve the quality of human capital, as well as enhance business decision-making.

Short Courses

A Primer in HR Analytics

 2 days


  Intermediate

This course will introduce you to analytics in relation to Human Resources (HR). You will also learn how HR analytics can play a part in enhancing performance and accuracy in business prognoses.

Professional Certificate in Career Counselling & Coaching

 90 hours


  Intermediate

This course equips you with career coaching skills that utilises the Person-Centred Theory/Approach (PCTA).




Stackable Courses / Skills-Based Modular Courses

Through these modules, you will be able to deepen your knowledge and skills in specific areas, and if you choose to complete the remaining modules within a period of two years, you will be awarded the Specialist Diploma.

Career Development and Counselling

This course will provide you with the fundamental capabilities to assist clients in their decision-making for themselves and their careers.

Counselling and Coaching Skills

This course will equip you with the basics of counselling theories and practical skills that can be applied across various situations.

Job and Labour Market Analysis

This course looks into emerging trends in employment. You will also be equipped with knowledge on occupational trends, labour market, and more.

Positive Psychology

This course discusses positive psychology and how it can be applied to various situations. You will also be introduced to the methods used to study happiness.

Psychometric Assessment

This course will introduce you to the basic principles of psychometrics and how they can be applied in different settings.

Micro-Learning Courses

These micro-learning courses are bite-sized eLearning courses, that allows you to expand and refresh your competencies at your own pace! Furthermore, these courses are also FREE.

Employment Act and Terminology

This course helps you understand the Employment Act. It also describes the different categories of workers according to the labour law.

Kirkpatrick Evaluation Model

This course will look into the four levels of Kirkpatrick's Evaluation Model; enabling you to better understand how to execute a training evaluation.

Manpower Planning

This course discusses manpower planning and basic calculations related to it.

Recruitment Channels

This course discusses internal and external recruitment channels. It also covers how to choose a suitable channel for recruitment.

SMART Goals

This course enables you to understand the different components of SMART goals and how to set one.

HR Fundamentals

This is a Certificate comprising the HR Fundamentals modules. Upon completion of all five courses under this learning path, participants will receive a certificate of completion.

Managing Diversity at the Global Workplace

This course allows you to gain an understanding on the dimensions of diversity in the global workplace. It also covers how to practice mutual respect in such an environment.

Specialist / Part-time Diplomas

Diploma in Business Practice (International Human Resources Management)

This course equips participants with the essential competencies to support the Human Resource functions of organisations operating across national boundaries in a multicultural environment.

Specialist Diploma in Career Counselling

This programme will equip participants with the essential counselling and coaching competencies that will enable them to perform the role of a dedicated Career Counselling Practitioner or to incorporate relevant concepts and principles into their current roles.

Specialist Diploma in HR Analytics and Technology

The Specialist Diploma in HR Analytics & Technology (SDHAT) is an accredited programme with the Institute of Human Resource Professionals (IHRP) that aims to grow your potential as a human resources (HR) professional by equipping you with in-demand skills and capabilities.

Work Study Post-Diploma (Specialist Diploma in HR Analytics and Technology)
