Social Services & Youth Mentoring

Our social services and youth mentoring courses will equip you with the essential knowledge and skills to chart new solutions for the social service sector. Through these courses, you can develop youths’ resilience and leadership, build digital strategies in advocacy, and engage stakeholders effectively.  

Short Courses

Coaching and Mentoring for Youth

 2 days


  Intermediate

This course will equip you with the ability to coach and mentor learners and youths using the "GROW model". You will also learn to apply the principles of coaching and mentoring to promote a "Growth Mindset" to reframe negative thinking.




Stackable Courses / Skills-Based Modular Courses

The stackable courses or skills-based modular courses are modules that are part of the Specialist Diploma in Digital Social Service. Through these modules, you will be able to deepen your knowledge and skills in specific areas, and if you choose to complete all the modules within a specific timeframe, you will be awarded the Specialist Diploma.

Emerging Trends in Social Purpose Organisations

This course will help you understand how social purpose businesses curate strategic giving progammes. At the same time, you will learn to manage volunteers and operational issues.

Digital Analytics in Applied Research

This module looks into digital technologies and social innovation tools that track and measure the success of social services. Students will also be familiarised with the methodological deliberations in collecting and analysing data.

Social Advocacy in a Digital Era

This course will equip you with the knowledge and skills to segment your audiences according to their unique characteristics; allowing you to adapt appropriate engagement strategies.
