What will I get out of this course

My two and a half years in the Operations and Engineering Management programme at RP were among the best years of my life. The Program Managers and Lecturers of the school were very helpful and supportive of the part time students. I would also like to thank to our Program Managers and Lecturers personally with their help in this two and half years. The Operations and Engineering Management Programme was exactly what I was looking for - industry-oriented curriculum, experienced lecturers and hands on projects that allow us to put our knowledge into practice. The classes were taught in an interactive manner, allowing me to build on my learning experience. I am committed to continuous self-improvement in my career and the programme has helped me achieve that.
SIM KAR YONG KEVIN

I personally feel the part time diploma programme is a good stepping stone for working adults to upgrade themselves. The programme is crafted in a flexible manner where school starts in the evening after work. Students will be given notes to study beforehand, hence it allows students to clarify any doubts efficiently from their lecturers when they attend class. Being a part time student, juggling work and school can be very tough. There might be unfortunate days where we might not be able to attend classes. Hence it is very important to have effective communication with lecturers. I feel that the lecturers in RP replies to queries promptly. During the duration of this course, I have learnt important lessons covered in modules that not only guide you in work but also to see a better view of how things work in general. After this Diploma, I have a better understanding of projects and productivity which is very essential in any career line.
H MOHAMED ASAAD

This part time diploma course structure has benefitted me to better understand how individual function works and being able to have better coordination between different functions. It has also made me think holistically with the new knowledge learned and to be able to apply what I have learned to my current role at work. The flexibility of the course being delivered is a bonus to me as I needed to manage between work and family. The lecturers were all being helpful throughout my time at RP which has greatly supported me to push through and excel further.
LIN HUI YING

The part time diploma has given me a lot of depth and insight into what I have been doing all along in my daily job. I also learnt a lot about the other processes which supported my line which is warehouse operations. Furthermore, many other relevant subjects were covered which are beneficial to the industries in Singapore.
WONG SAI HOR

The part time diploma course is a good opportunity for non-diploma holders to take a step further in enquiring knowledge, subsidised by the government. Best suited for working individuals as it offers flexibility without compromising on quality. It has benefited me in terms of raising my value at my workplace. I have new set of skills and knowledge at my disposal to improve the quality of my work.
