This 1-day course equips participants with the understanding of patient care needed for frontline ambassadors to perform their job. At the end of course, participants will be able to:
- Understand the chain of infection cycle to better prepare them in the course of work and for risk management
- Apply proper infection control techniques to minimise spread of infectious diseases in carrying out their duties
- Apply appropriate communication skills in the execution of their job roles and identify non-verbal cues
Who should attend?
Anyone performing frontline ambassador duties during COVID-19 or handling patient care roles, including but not withstanding:
- Care Ambassadors
- Caregivers
- Basic Care Assistants
Learning Objectives
By the end of the course, participants will be able to take precautions and communicate effectively to minimise spread of infectious diseases.
Certification
Participants will be awarded a certificate of completion upon meeting the 75% course attendance requirement.
For courses with formal assessment component, participants will be awarded the certification of completion upon passing the assessment. Otherwise, a certification of attendance will be issued instead upon meeting the 75% course attendance requirement.
