Creating Augmented Reality Effects for Social Media

Augmented reality (AR) has made its way into today’s popular social media platforms. These days, social media users are increasingly familiar with AR filters which are often used in a type of post known as “stories” on platforms such as Facebook and Instagram.

These AR filters are not only creative and fun, they can also increase brand awareness by tapping on emotions; creating unique experiences that captivate the audience.

But what exactly are AR filters? Simply put, they are computer-generated elements that layer over real-life images. AR filters can also make “stories” more appealing and interactive as they add functional elements onto the visuals.

Engage your audience more effectively through this course. Participants will learn how to make AR filters using a beginner friendly tool, Spark AR Studio. Within two days, participants will be better prepared with the knowledge and skills needed to create and publish AR filters that are suitable for use on Facebook and Instagram.
