In what ways can a simulation tool help in decision making?
Simulation is essentially a primitive form of metaverse. It is the power behind predicting the outcomes of different possibilities. This course aims to introduce simulation for effective decision making. Participants will learn to identify the different ways simulation can be applied and how it can help improve a company’s operations and processes. Steps to carry out an effective simulation study will also be presented.
Participants will also learn to perform modelling and simulation using FlexSim simulation software in class.
Learning Objectives
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
- Appreciate the applications of simulation
- Carry out the essential steps in a simulation study
- Experience a simulation model through FlexSim
Who Should Attend?
Business professionals and individuals who are keen to learn and apply simulation tools to decision making.
Entry Requirement
There is no minimum entry requirement for this course.
Certification
Participants will be awarded a certificate of completion upon meeting the 75% course attendance requirement.
For courses with formal assessment component, participants will be awarded the certification of completion upon passing the assessment. Otherwise, a certification of attendance will be issued instead upon meeting the 75% course attendance requirement.
