Mathematics at the university level can be challenging. That is why it is important to have a strong mathematical foundation, before progressing to the university. This course aims to provide participants with the skills and knowledge needed to ease into the rigour of university mathematics. Upon completion, participants will also be better prepared for the University Mathematics Proficiency Test.

Who Should Attend?
Polytechnic graduates who will be pursuing a degree in engineering, information technology, or science.
Final year polytechnic students who are planning to enrol into the university are also welcome to apply.
Entry Requirement
Applicants for this course should have passed any one of the following:
- Mathematics module from local polytechnics; or
- GCE O-Level Elementary Mathematics (Syllabus 4048)
Certification
Participants who pass the assessment will be awarded a Certificate in Mathematics.
Participants who meet the 75% attendance requirement but did not pass the assessment will be awarded a Certificate of Attendance.
