Improve your warehousing capabilities through this course where you will be introduced to concepts on storage systems and a range of technologies that are practical for your line of work. Entry Requirement

Participants are expected to have basic knowledge in warehouse operation such as receiving, putaway, picking, and packing.

Certification

Participants will be awarded a certificate of completion upon meeting the 75% course attendance requirement.

For courses with formal assessment component, participants will be awarded the certification of completion upon passing the assessment. Otherwise, a certification of attendance will be issued instead upon meeting the 75% course attendance requirement.

Trainer's Profile

Mr. Nicholas Chiang is a lecturer under the School of Engineering at Republic Polytechnic (RP).

In 2017, Nicholas participated in a national warehouse benchmarking exercise as one of the pioneers consultant. He worked closely with the company warehouse analyst and supervisors to uncover areas with great potential of improvement.

With Industrial 4.0 in mind, Nicholas integrated robotic process automation (RPA) into warehousing administration matters to improve warehouse efficiency. Up to date, he has successfully completed four projects using RPA.

Prior to joining RP, Nicholas worked in the manufacturing sector for nine years, in charge of overseeing overseas vendors. This helped Nicholas built up a wealth of experience managing global supply chain.
