Mr Thomas Seow

Mr Thomas Seow 

Chief Operations Officer
Gardens by the Bay

As the Chief Operations Officer, Mr Seow oversees the major operational functions and ensures optimal efficiencies in the planning and execution of all daily operations at the Gardens. Prior to this appointment, Mr Seow oversaw key major functions – from Research & Horticulture concurrent oversight of the Engineering and the Attractions Operations departments. When the new normal required Gardens by the Bay to accelerate efforts in digital transformation and augment its sustainability footprint, Mr Seow led the newly minted Sustainability Office and the Innovation and Technology Office.

Mr Seow  is an electrical engineer by training. While he is new to the horticulture industry, he enjoys learning about the world of plants. He believes that plants are ultimately about people – people who grow them and people who enjoy them.

Mr Thomas Ding

Managing Director
Levels  

Mr Thomas Ding is the Managing Director of Levels, the sequel to Vhive, one of Singapore’s largest furniture retailers which was established in 1990. He has over a decade of experience executing projects related to design and technology. Prior to managing Levels, he was an Information Technology (IT) professional running a digital agency that offered strategy design and technology development services. He recently completed his master’s and doctorate degrees from the University of Edinburgh specialising in research on digital entrepreneurship. As an academic, he has presented his work at various entrepreneurship conferences. His work is also published in renowned entrepreneurship journals. Outside of his entrepreneurial endeavours, he is an avid retail investor and a connoisseur of fine art stored on the blockchain.

 

Mr Shaun

Mr Shaun Kwan 

Co-founder and Chief Operation Officer
Trakomatic 

Mr Kwan holds an Master of Business Administration from Strathclyde University majoring in Advanced Strategic Marketing, and studied Strategic Business Frameworks in the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

With more than 20 years in IT, his tenure extended from IBM with a Client Sales Profession Certification, to being a global IT distributor. Mr Kwan has consistently earned acknowledged accolades and awards for his work in the IT sector. His last role as the Vice-President Sales, Asia Pacific has enhanced his vast exposure in Sales Management across the region with diverse understanding of the different business and social cultures.

Through the years, Mr Kwan has been instrumental with in-depth involvement in various ranging from Industrial Manufacturing, Technology, and Online games. Mr Kwan conducts Business & Sales Mentoring across Retail, Industrial, Technology, Properties, and Financial Planning coaching in various disciplines and strategies. He has in depth understanding of the challenges faced by Start-up/SME and has developed great empathy to customise his coaching approaches accordingly.

Highly rated by most of his workshop participants, Mr Kwan has successfully differentiated himself not just by delivering frameworks, but also his hands-on exemplary field involvement has been highly acknowledged. As a Startup Entrepreneur himself, he is currently a founder of various investments.

Ms Jacqueline Wu

Ms Jacqueline Wu

Ms Jacqueline Wu’s area of specialisation lies in academic leadership, with 15 years of experience in leading diploma team to develop ecosystem to facilitate innovation and entrepreneurship amongst RP’s student population. She was instrumental in launching RP’s Diploma in Business programme in 2020. A passionate educator and firm believer of lifelong learning, she successfully clinched $100,000 in funding under YES! Schools, administered by then SPRING Singapore to implement DARE, an entrepreneurial programme to nurture entrepreneurial individuals in 2010.

Ms Tio Wee Leng

School of Management and Communication

Ms Tio Wee Leng heads the Industry Collaboration and Capability Development under the School of Management and Communication, RP. Prior to this, she led the Diploma in Consumer Behaviour and Research programme with a team of academia in developing the institution’s Consumer Insights Lab. She and her team are strong advocates of bringing the industry and organisations together through joint partnership and collaboration to build knowledge in Business Insights for Commercial and Social Applications.

Throughout her professional journey, she had worked with organisations and partners on projects that ranged across different commercial sectors such as Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) , Cosmetics, Fragrances, Food and Beverage Services (F&B), Tourism, and Media. Her experience also encompassed social sectors.

Before joining RP, Ms Tio worked in the field of Consumer, Branding and Marketing where she had spearheaded new business concepts. An inquisitive individual, she enjoys research topics on branding and advertising, especially those that are related to youth behaviour and motivation. She believes that the work of the industry and institutions create a multiplier effect and constantly curious about the possibilities of the future.
