Entry Requirement

Basic IT Literacy. No prior knowledge of AI tools is needed for this introductory course.

Certification

Participants will be awarded a certificate of completion upon meeting the 75% course attendance requirement.

For courses with assessment component, participants will be awarded the certification of completion upon passing the assessment. Otherwise, a certification of attendance will be issued instead upon meeting the 75% course attendance requirement.

Trainer’s Profile

Seow Khee Wei holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree (Electrical and Electronics Engineering) from Nanyang Technological University, a Master of Business Administration from the University of Melbourne and a Nanodegree in Artificial Intelligence (AI) from Udacity. He is a Certified Instructor for Nvidia Deep Learning Institute and holds an Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance (ACLP). At Republic Polytechnic, he conducts training in Artificial Intelligence and Software Development. Outside training, he works on consultancy projects and is a technical consultant for a local health tech company. He is presently the Assistant Director of Capability and Industry at the School of Infocomm.

He has conducted corporate training for the likes of M1, Micron, MHA, MINDEF and PSA.

Tan Poh Keam holds a Bachelor of Computer Science degree from National University of Singapore and a Master of Business Administration from Nanyang Technological University. Poh Keam also holds the Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance (ACLP). His area of interest is in applied natural language processing using AI. He was the Programme Head for the Specialist Diploma in Applied Artificial Intelligence and provided AI training for both CET and PET audiences.

Jimmy Goh is a Senior Lecturer in Republic Polytechnic, School of Infocomm. He joined RP since 2006 and he had taught several different modules including programming, software engineering, databases, web and mobile developments, and Agile/SCRUM. His PhD research area was Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Education. His current interest is in Deep Learning and Computer Vision. He is the trainer for several Continuing Education and Training (CET) courses in Deep Learning and Computer Vision.
