Unmanned Aircraft Pilot Licence (UAPL) up to 25kg Multirotor (Assessment only)

This two-hour assessment/proficiency check, conducted by CAAS approved Authorised Flight Examiners (AFEs) is for you!

Learning Objectives

By the end of the assessment/proficiency check, you will be able to demonstrate your competencies in the following areas:

  1. Operating a UA system

  2. Pre-flight and post-flight checks of the UA, with reference to the Original Equipment Manufacturer documents and training manuals

  3. Smooth and controlled flying of the following manoeuvres without Global Positioning System assistance:

    • Precision hovering

    • Straight and level circuits

    • Climbing and descending circuits

    • Figure of “8”

    • Precision landing

Who Should Attend?

Existing Class A Rotorcraft UAPL holders with 25kg multirotor limitation intending to renew their licence.

Entry Requirement

You are expected to have a good command of the English language, and be at least 16 years old at the point of application.

You must possess a valid Class A Rotorcraft (up to 25kg multirotor) UAPL.

Certification

Your results will be submitted to CAAS, upon passing the assessment for Class A Rotorcraft (up to 25kg multirotor) UAPL.
