Are you planning to renew your existing Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) Class A Rotorcraft Unmanned Aircraft Pilot Licence (UAPL) up to 25kg multirotor limitation? This two-hour Class A Rotorcraft (up to 25kg multirotor) assessment/proficiency check option is for you!
Participants will be assessed by CAAS approved Authorised Flight Examiners (AFE) who are existing UAPL holders with at least five years teaching and Unmanned Aircraft (UA) experience.
CAAS UAPL Requirements
Participants are strongly encouraged to complete a training programme with any CAAS-approved UA Training and Assessment Organisation (UATO) to acquire the relevant practical knowledge before attempting the practical assessment.

By the end of the assessment/proficiency check, participants will be able to demonstrate proficiency for CAAS Class A Rotorcraft (up to 25kg multirotor) in the following areas:
Knowledge on operating UA system
Pre-flight and post-flight checks of the UA, with reference to the Original Equipment Manufacturer documents and training manuals
Smooth and controlled flying of the following manoeuvres without Global Positioning System assistance:
Who Should Attend?
Existing Class A Rotorcraft UAPL holders with 25kg multirotor limitations intending to renew their UAPL.
Participants are expected to have a good command of the English language, and be at least 16 years old at the point of application, with an existing CAAS Class A Rotorcraft (up to 25kg multirotor) UAPL.
Class A Rotorcraft (up to 25kg multirotor) assessment results will be submitted to CAAS for all successful participants at the end of the course.
