Data Visualisation and Analytics

This course introduces participants to data visualisation through the field of business intelligence. Participants will learn fundamental concepts and explore the Tableau interface, identifying and applying the various tools Tableau has to offer. 

Through the workshop, participants will prepare and import data into Tableau, and explain the relationship between data analytics and data visualisation.

Learning Objectives

By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:

  • describe the diverse types and forms of visual displays

  • recognise the distinct characteristics of commonly used visual displays

  • apply the appropriate visual displays to unique situations

  • systematically create graphic visual solutions

Consumer insight analysts, marketing associates, brand associates, e-commerce associates 

Certification

Participants will be awarded the Certificate of Attendance issued by Republic Polytechnic upon meeting 80% of the attendance.
