In photography the quality of the light can make or break a photo. This is often the challenge for landscape and travel photographers, when the scene may be overly glaring and beyond the dynamic range of the camera. Luckily there is a solution for this challenge. It is called High Dynamic Range Photography. When the sky is dark and gloomy, when we want to capture the serenity of a lake, or when we want to control the appearance of waves in a seascape, Long Exposure Photography will just do the trick. These techniques will be extremely useful for professional photographers engaged for commission works.
Often a times, we are awed by the scenic beauty of nature, and we want to capture the rugged expanse of the mountain range or of the gentle beauty of the rolling fields, but we are limited by the field of view of the lens. Again there is a technical solution for this, it is called Panoramic Photography. These techniques will be extremely useful for commission works or when leading photography groups.
In landscape photography when we are challenged by the depth of field, and likewise in close-up or macro photography where a single shot could not do justice to the subject, the technique of Focus Stacking will resolve this challenge. Also importantly, his skill will be of particular use to product photography when the photos of products are to be marketed through eDM or websites.
Time-lapse Photography is increasingly becoming a popular genre in photography. It is an exciting cinematography technique using still photography in manipulating time, objects and events into time-lapse video.
