Academy for Continuing Education (ACE)

This module seeks to reinforce the importance of professional and ethical practices in performing youth and student guidance works, including adherence to relevant legislative and institutional guidelines. It also aims to deepen participants’ knowledge on lifespan and moral development stages, as well as motivational factors for students and youths, and the consequent impact on goal achievement. Through counselling skills such as motivational interviewing techniques, participants will enhance their competency to advise, mentor and coach youths and students towards holistic self-development.

Developing Professional and Self-management Practices selected from the Specialist Diploma in Youth and Student Support and Development. It enables participants to acquire new skills or deepen relevant skills without the need to pursue a full specialist diploma.

How often do I need to attend the course?

Lessons will be held at RP ACE @ Woodlands.

- Fees reflected are inclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST). In line with the government fee freeze directive from 1 Jan to 31 Dec 2023, the fees in 2023 for Singapore Citizen will remain the same as 2022. RP will absorb the additional 1% GST for Singapore Citizen in 2023 only.
