Travel and Learn Programme – Bali, Indonesia

Beyond the entertainment and shopping paradise, discover the creative and enterprising facets of Thailand. This programme is designed to help you explore business opportunities via a series of workshops, panel discussions, networking sessions and industry visits.

After an initial preparation session in Singapore, you will embark on an exciting journey to network and learn from established businesses in Bangkok, visit True Digital Park “Thailand's first and Southeast Asia's largest start-up ecosystem”, Chulalongkorn University “he oldest institute of higher education in Thailand” and other relevant establishments to learn about the lively Thai start-up ecosystem, get a sense of the Thai business culture, gain market-entry insights and immerse in the vibrancy of Bangkok.

Programme Outline 

Day 1: Preparation in Singapore

  • Overview of 3D2N programme in Bangkok, Thailand
  • Overseas Market Entry Strategies
  • Financing and Funding for overseas growth
  • Planning for a sustainable business – ‘Critical Success Factors & the Triple Bottom Line’

 

Day 2: Doing Business in Thailand

Attend presentations and workshops at Chulalongkorn University, Thailand’s top university where you will learn about:

  • Understanding Business Culture
  • Impact of Digitalisation on Education in Thailand
  • Working with Thai Talent
  • University-industry collaborations

 

Day 3: Doing Business in Thailand

Visit the True Digital Park, Thailand’s first and Southeast Asia’s largest start-up and tech entrepreneur’s campus to learn about the:

  • Business start-up ecosystem in Bangkok
  • Singapore-Bangkok bridge for entrepreneurs
  • Business Climate, Legal and Regulatory Landscape in Thailand
  • Investment climate and business opportunities in Thailand

 

Day 4: Industry Visits

Visit relevant sites in Bangkok to gain industry insights and appreciate business practices.

Certification

Participants will be awarded the Certificate of Attendance by Republic Polytechnic upon meeting 75% of attendance requirement.
