Travel and Learn Programme – Bali, Indonesia

Go on a business learning journey to Bali that will help improve your knowledge of Indonesia’s model for tourism destinations and gain a better understanding of the Indonesia’s tourism investment road map, as well as the opportunities presented by the “10 New Balis1” strategy.

After an initial preparation session in Singapore, you will journey to Bali; Indonesia's top tourism destination of Indonesia. In Bali, you will enjoy networking opportunities with local businesses, government officials, and potential partners for collaboration.

Programme Outline 

Day 1: Preparation in Singapore 

  • Overview of 3D2N programme in Bali, Indonesia
  • Access to Indonesia
  • Overseas Market Entry Strategies
  • Financing and Funding for overseas growth
  • Planning for a sustainable business – ‘Critical Success Factors & the Triple Bottom Line’

Day 2: Doing Business in Indonesia

  • Depart Singapore for Bali
  • Learn about “10 new Balis” strategy and the role of Tourism development for Indonesia economic development

  • Understanding Indonesia Business Culture and Balinese Business Culture

Day 3: Doing Business in Indonesia

  • Appreciating the local operating environment; Bali as case study on location sensitivities

  • Resources for engagement; learn what Co-working spaces have to offer

  • Business dialogue with: Ministry of Tourism, Business Leaders, Lawyers and recent Singapore SME entrants to the tourism industry in Bali, Lombok & Belitung.

Day 4: Doing Business in Indonesia

  • Understanding Business operations
  • Depart from Bali to Singapore


Participants will be awarded the Certificate of Attendance by Republic Polytechnic upon meeting 75% of attendance requirement.
