Joint Admissions Exercise (JAE)

You can search for your desired RP courses online or browse through our collaterals such as the RP Prospectus. You can also attend events such as the RP Open House and Course Counselling sessions to find out more about our diploma courses.

The JAE registration will start on the same day as the official announcement of the release of the Singapore-Cambridge GCE ‘O’ Level Examination results.
  • It will be held over a period of 5 calendar days (including weekends and Public Holidays), starting from 3.00pm on the first day of registration until 4.00pm on the last day of registration.

  • The exact registration dates will be announced in the media together with the announcement on the release of the GCE 'O' Level Examination results.

Posting Outcome

JAE applicants should receive their application results by 4 February 2020 (tentative).
  • The outcome of your JAE application will be released via the following modes:

    • JAE Internet System (JAE-IS)

    • SMS via applicant's mobile number (if provided by applicant during JAE)

  • All JAE application fees incurred will be collected from the applicants by the institutions (i.e. JC, MI, Polytechnic or ITE) that the applicant is eventually enrolled in, together with other school fees after the exercise.

    • You do not need to make payment during registration.

The JAE Appeal Exercise is open only to applicants who have taken part in the recent JAE and wish to make an appeal either for a placement in a diploma course or seek a transfer to another diploma course.
  • You may make multiple amendments to your appeal choices during the appeal period. However, only the latest submission will be processed.

  • If you are successful in your appeal, you will have your original JAE posting revoked. Otherwise, you are allowed to keep your original JAE posting only if you are unsuccessful in the JAE Appeal Exercise.

  • You are advised to consider your choices very carefully before submitting an appeal.
