WorldSkills Competition Special Edition 2022: WorldSkills Best of Nation Award 

Congratulations to Team Singapore for the stellar performance at the Worldskills Competition 2022 Special Edition. They achieved a total of 21 medals, comprising 3 Golds, 3 Silvers, 2 Bronzes and 13 Medallions for Excellence! 

Our RP School of Hospitality graduate Jovinn Toh won Singapore's first Gold in the Hotel Reception skill area with her outstanding customer service and problem-solving skills. She also clinched the Worldskills Best of Nation Award, presented to the highest scoring competitor from Team Singapore. Minister of State for Education, Ms Gan Siow Huang, officiated the Awards and Appreciation Ceremony event held at RP, recently.

In an interview with Zaobao, Jovinn shared that she has always been passionate to serve and has been preparing for the competition since she took up the Diploma in Hotel & Hospitality Management (DHHM). Her expertise from DHHM and training by her coaches, coupled with her working experience at Mandarin Oriental, had prepared her well for the competition.
