SHL Staff is First Singapore Paralympian to Powerlift at Tokyo Paralympics

SHL staff, Nur 'Aini Mohamad Yasli, became the first Singapore Paralympian to compete in powerlifting, as she came in sixth out of nine athletes in the women's under-45kg division at the Tokyo Paralympics on Thursday, 26 August 2021. SHL Lecturers Receive MOE Innergy Award 2020

Diploma in Sport & Exercise Science Lecturer, Jernice Tan, and Diploma in Sport Coaching Programme Chair, Coral Lim, received the Silver Award for the MOE Innergy Award 2020 – Academic / Teaching and Learning, for their project on Interactive Physical Learning Activities for the Young (iPLAY). The iPLAY framework is a turnkey solution of having an exergaming platform to assist educators and therapists in assessing motor skills, tracking motor milestones and providing motor intervention.
